Depending on the demand, we may add more cities. to let us know other cities you would like to see in the Guichetier.

How are ATMs grouped in the bank list?

ATMs are grouped by city. For large cities, we additionally created groups for individual boroughs (e.g. Plateau-Mont-Royal, Ahuntsic-Cartierville, etc.). When using the ATM list, if you're unsure of the city or borough to look for, the easiest way to find an ATM is to use the search field at the top of the list.

Why does the app quit when I see the map?

In order to display nearby ATMs, we leverage the power of the Maps application provided by Apple. The unfortunate side effect is that once we launch Maps, we have to quit the Guichetier. In iPhone OS 3.0, Apple has provided a mechanism to embed maps within an application, a feature you will most likely see in a future release of the Guichetier.

Why should I purchase the iPhone app when there is a free online version?

The iPhone app provides several features that are not available on the online app such as the ability to filter search results, an offline mode and geolocalisation capabilities. Purchasing the iPhone app also contributes to the maintenance and development of the online version.

Why did you release a free online version?

Not everyone has an iPhone or iPod touch and we wanted to share our service with a wider audience. It's also a way for us to contribute back to the community we live in.

Can I select which banks are displayed?

It is not possible to specify which banks are displayed on the map. Our goal is to keep the user interface of the Guichetier Web as simple as possible.
